FreightCar America, Inc. Announces First Quarter 2005 Earnings Conference Call

Chicago, IL, May 17, 2005 - FreightCar America, Inc. (NASDAQ: RAIL) will host a conference call on Thursday, May 19, 2005 at 3:00 p.m. (Central Time) to discuss the Company's first quarter 2005 financial results.
