Johnstown America expands railcar parts and rebuild organizationJohnstown, Pennsylvania, February 14, 2003 - Johnstown America Corporation announced today that it has appointed J. Bard McLean, Inc., to represent Johnstown America's railcar parts and rebuilding business in the eastern United States. J. Bard McLean's president, Derek McLean, will be responsible for customers in the Northeast, while his brother, Bard McLean, Jr., will cover the Southeast. The McLean brothers are third-generation manufacturers' representatives in the North American railroad industry and have over 30 years combined experience in the industry. Their legacy goes back to their grandfather, who founded the business in the 1950's after a successful railroad industry career. Johnstown America Corporation (JAC), a leading producer of railcars in North America, has a substantial parts and railcar rebuild business that offers repair parts for freight cars as well as rebuilding of all railcar types except tank cars.
