Johnstown America wins large order of 89' flatcars from TTX.

Johnstown, Pennsylvania, January 22, 2004 - Johnstown America Corporation is building 500, 100-ton capacity, 89-foot flatcars for TTX Company. The flatcars are being produced in three different configurations for carrying pipe and/or military equipment.

Mike Kelly, vice president, sales, Midwest region for Johnstown America described the order: "Some of the cars are equipped with timber risers for carrying pipe, others are equipped with tie-downs for carrying military equipment and a third group are equipped to carry both. They also carry a variety of materials including other steel products, machinery and specialized vehicles."

"Johnstown America has built cars for TTX for many years and is a valued supplier, especially in the heavy capacity flat car arena," said Carl R. Graziano, TTX Company's vice president of purchasing.
